SPARKplus upgrade

The SPARKplus upgrade brings a refreshed appearance with a range of user interface and functional improvements.
For staff interpreting student ratings in group contribution mode, there are now helpful filters, feedback options and clearer explanations built into the monitoring screen.

The complete list of enhancements are as follows:

• Fixed problem where cloned subject kept original subject’s connection to Blackboard

• Recalculate button removed from results list – factors are recalculated instantly now – group contribution mode
• Placeholders added to send email screen
• Fixed problem when calculated result is zero it used to display a dash – group contribution mode

• Preferred email field available for students when needing to share info via SPARKPLUS
• Fixed date being shown as GMT in alter rating period
• Multi choice has eliminate question from result calculation

• Monitoring screen state is remembered – group contribution mode
• Fixed searching log where searching for two words would search for the phrase rather than the two words individually
• Fixed bug where utf16 encoded files were causing control characters to be inserted

• Additional id field for accounts – for institutions that use two id fields
• Labels of account id and the above extra id able to be changed in config
• Password is not mandatory when creating new accounts
• First name is not mandatory for accounts
• When uploading list of enrolments new option to remove existing enrolments not found in the uploaded list
